Still going strong

So I have been doing the Body For Life workouts for awhile now and I am still going strong. I feel ALOT healthier. I have decided to DITCH the scale and only bring it out once every two weeks. I should not be measuring my progress by what that stupid old scale says. The number on the scale is not everything. I will take progress pictures in a few weeks so we can SEE what progress I have made.


Well, I am off to go eat my breakfast of two eggs and some diced potatos. Mmmmm! More later!

American Idol

So I have been watching pretty closely this season since the silly auditions and I have to say that I am kind of disapointed. They really picked a few people that just cannot sing very well at all. I am not the best singer, but uhh, I didn't audition so nah nah nah. Lakeesha rocks, I still enjoy the beatbox kid, I really like the goth type girl with the red stripe in her black hair, melinda doolittle, but the rest are kind of like eh, take them or leave them. And is Paula even a judge anymore? She repeats the exact same thing for each contestant "uhh..well..you know..your beautiful" As if that is supposed to make them feel better? lol yes, because looks are everything Paula *eye roll*. I really do like Paula though. At least I actually AGREE with Simon this season.

The Gazelle

Hmm, so I'm not so sure STILL how I feel about this peice of equipment..I will watch the Tony Little Infomercials and think wow, these machines are pretty awesome. I prety much convince myself that I NEED one.. However, then I take the time to look up reviews on the machine I find that alot of people actually prefer standard ellipticol trainers to The Gazelle. Alot of people compare the Gazelle to the early nordic-trak ski machines. I think it would be a fun machine to have around, but I really still want my husband to buy me an ellipticol :)

American Idol

This is kind of off topic as well, but I have to talk about american idol. The auditions are nutty. It kind of makes me mad that the producers pass up some really good singers just to put some wacky untalened people in front of the real judges to get some great tv. It's almost SICKENING, actually. However, we all still watch it. What does that make us? lol sickening I guess! The beatbox guy is kinda cool, I hope he goes really far. That Lakeesha (Not sure I have spelled it right.) girl is REALLY talented. We shall see what this season has to offer as the episodes go on.
