Cool new website

I have always thought how neat it would be to have a webcam. If I finally break down and buy one, there is a website that I would deffinatly try it out on. That website is Person.com. Person.com is an awesome site where you can connect with people to become friends or start a relationship. Kind of like a personals site. They have the normal personals stuff like people search, chatrooms, vote for who is good looking and who is not, flirting with users, etc. HOWEVER, the BEST part is the webcam features. You can hook up your webcam and make a little video diary or broadcast and either make it public or set it up so that only specific users that YOU select can see it. Chat via webcam. It sounds REALLY awesome. You should check it out!

Big Money Offers

If there is one thing that I have learned from a few of my other blogging friends, it is that you NEED to get out there and promote, promote, promote your blog! You need that traffic coming in somehow. It is very important to get a higher google page rank. Why? Hello! Have you seen the high paying offers that people with high ranking blogshave been able to take of late? There are some huge opps on there right now. I have seen some that are a few hundred bucks. Do you know what that means? That means that someone on PayPerPost is making a few hundred dollars in ONE day. That is INSANE!! So get out there and promote your blog in link back challenges, technorati, research how to get that traffic coming in.

I checked out that ReviewMe website and honestly, I prefer PayPerPost. I hear that while you may get high offers, you do not get them often and the service fee there is 100% while PayPerPost service fee is only 35%. That is quite a difference, especially when the one with the smaller fee gives you more offers and these offers are DAILY. You do not have to wait for someone to summon you to blog about them. ReviewMe is taking more money from YOUR pocket. That is just wrong. Stick with PayPerPost.

PayPerPost

So I just signed up with PayPerPost today, and am very excited about it. My friends have been blogging with PayPerPost for months now and finally got me into it. Who wouldn’t want to get started with such a great site? They offer such great benefits foronline advertising for advertisers and a great way to earn a few hundred dollars a month for broke college students, stay at home parents or anyone that has some spare time.

I’ve read that they have some big plans for bloggers coming up. They say they are gearing up to make some big announcements and enhancements soon. What are they going to be? My hope is that perhaps they will either up the amount of posts you can take an a day or start having a weekly contest where they draw a blog’s name out of a hat and that blogger gets to take a $50 dollar offer. OR, maybe do the same drawing and that blogger will receive $50 dollars, just because they won.

Another interesting option would be to take on more advertisers and put the offers into categories like health and fitness, technology, entertainment, shopping, retail, stuff like that. That way certain people that have topic specific blogs can stay on topic but still make money. Any of these ideas would be interesting, but I can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeves.

Linkage

So we all are looking for new ways to make some blog friends and help each other out as far as getting traffic and linking goes. My friend Jim introduced me to link trains. This one originated at
ALGOCO Cash Machine

***Begin to copy here*** 1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content string. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra linkback. 2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword. 3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list. 4. Add no more than 7 new GENERAL blogs to the list in the “My Adds” section.

Blogvertising!

My wife has turned me on to the blogging universe. She has her own blog with payperpost and found a new website called Blogvertise. It's awesome, unlike payperpost it sends YOU offers and they pay you weekly. You do not have to wait for an entire 30 days to get paid for your work. You can sign on as either a blogger, to review people's posts, or sign on as an advertiser and request that people write entries about your products or website. What a great deal! It's a win win situation. This is an outstanding way to make some extra money, while helping others generate traffic to their websites. I can't wait to get started!
