I have told you all in the past about the lowest bid wins contest, where you bid on a prize from your cell phone and if you have picked the lowest unique bid, you will win that particular prize. It's a very new and interesting type of idea. Personaly, I would bid on the Sony Vaio UX230P. It's a really cool palm sized computer that has wirelass lan and bluetooth capabilities. Currently the bid range is between one penny and 21 cents. It's free to join and free to bid. It's so cool. I really want that tiny Sony Vaio. Have you ever heard ofbid4prizes? It's a really unique idea. What happens is you choose the prize that you would most like to win. Then you bid on that prize. Unlike normal auctions, the lowest unique bidder wins. A bid would start out at 1 cent. If more than one person bids 1 cent, then you move up to the next lowest possible bid. If more than one person bids on that one, you move up to the next. So basically the winning bid could be anywhere from a penny to 25 bucks to 655 dollars. It's really interesting. I wouldn't mind winning a Plasma tv for 50 bucks!I'd probably start out my bidding at 15 cents. Oh yes, and did I mention it was done by cell phone? That's right, you can type in your cell phone number and your bid amount in the form fields on the website then they text you whether your bid is the lowest unique amount or not. They even give you hints. Check them out!
