Slimfast time control formula.

Hm. Hmm. Hmmmm...I just don't know about this one. Those things, no matter what they put in them, do not fill me up. For me, I could use them as a lowfat milk shake to go with a grilled chicken burger. However, as a meal replacement, eh, no way. Others seem to be able to control their hunger for the supposent four hours, but for me it is just a waste. What do YOU think?

As seen on tv products that are not worth the money.

I have had my share of these products. They are all collecting dust in my closet. Either that or I threw them out. We have all seen the products..the late night infomercials promising a quick fix..ab belts that supposently flatten your abs, (We fail to realize these people that are showing them off had flat abs to begin with.)fat trapper pills, a gazillion and five excersize videos, weird fitness gadgets, even kitchen appliances that promise to help you lose weight.

Here is an article I wrote about such products.

Weightloss Pills

They are all over the tv. Even on the radio. I've seen tons of late night info-mercials for fat-trapper pills, Hoodia, Calogel, Hydroxycut, etc. When will the madness end? What I find funny, is that we all buy this stuff, actually thinking it will work. What we often times fail to realize, is that when buying these miracle weightloss pills, it says right on the bottle, not to mention the commercial that sells them, that they are best used with diet and excersize. DUH..you could lose the 2lbs a week the commercial claims with diet and excersize alone. It seems pointless to waste the money. Especially on something that may have potential health risks.

I see alot of hype about Hoodia, but I am afraid to try it. I have always heard Hydroxycut works rather well, yet when I looked up reviews on all of the popular diet pills, there were very, very few positive remarks about any of them. A few people had success, but they were the ones watching what they ate and excersizing anyway. The rest said they were a waste of money. I myself had tried Fat trapper pills and Calogel. The fat trappers didn't trap any fat, and Calogel worked for about a week. That week I was sick almost everyday after taking them.

Weightloss pills, a scam? Probably. Do we need them. I don't think so. What do you think?

Slow weightloss is better

For those that are having a tough time of the weightloss thing, maybe it feels like it is coming off at at turtles pass, toss out your scale and check out this article. It talks about how slow and steady wins the race. Not to mention the scale is not the only way of measuring progress. You could actually MEASURE yourself ;) Seriously, that scale is NOT your friend. I reccomend only weighing yourself about once every two weeks or so.

This is the key phrase in this article. "perseverance and hard work -- not quick fixes -- are key to losing and keeping off weight."
