Beauty Jobs

Alot of people I knew through highschool have graduated cosmetology school and gone on to work at the local hairdressing places. It's great to see them happy and enjoying their work and they do a great job cutting and styling hair. I myself have no talent whatsoever when it comes to styling hair or putting makeup on people, let alone myself. However, for those that do, and are looking for a great job opportunity in YOUR area, or in an area you may be wanting to move to, I suggest checking out a new beauty jobs seach engine website called Beauty Jobs. You can find salon and cosmetology openings all over the country.

Daily Eerie Story 6

I was reading this from a ghost stories website. It's really creepy but i'm not sure I beleive it. If it IS true, it's really creepy and if I was the chick I would have been a LITTLE bit more creeped out than she was and would not have been able to sleep after that message.

My name is Anna and about two years ago I came home from a party pretty late at night. I notice there is a message on my machine. I play it and it says "help me...help me..Anna?" in a quiet, and distant voice. I couldn't tell if it was familiar or not. It skeeved me out a bit..ok ALOT but I just deleted it. It was to late to call everyone I know to see who it was. The caller ID showed it as "Unknown". The call time was 9:50pm. There was another call right before that at 9:45pm but there was no message on the machine.

Later that night I was awoken by my phone ringing. I answer it and it's my sister. She is hysterical. My father had died around 9:30pm and she had called a short while later at around 9:40 she said but didn't want to tell me the news on my machine. I later found out that he clutched his heart as he died and called out for my help, though I wasn't there. Was the call I received from beyond the grave?...

Onlne Degree

The following post is based on information provided by blogitive. For more information, please visit blogitive.com

Being someone that can't make it to outside the house classes due to scheduling and children, etc, I really take online schooling seriously. When I first started out looking for places that offer online degree, I actually gave up, because there are so many online schools out there to sift through. I asked for advice and was told to forget about online schools and that most employeers would have never heard of the schools when you go to get a job and that your diploma would be worth nothing. Discouraged, I gave up. Then I was told about Capella University. They are a fully online university that was founded in 1993. They offer degree programs in business technology, education, psychology, public safety, etc. The best part is that they are an accredited university. This means that they are cerfitied to teach you and that your diploma is just as good as one you would get attending an outside of the home university. What more could you ask for? Take clases in your pjs if you want, it's great.

Daily Eerie Story 5

A friend told me that her cousin used to live in a haunted house in Savannah, Georgia. I myself have never seen the house or even been to Georgia but my friend doesn't tend to lie. I don't know her cousin so I can't say the same about her, but the story is interesting none the less.

My friend said that one night her 14 year old cousin was home alone with her little brother who was about 8 at the time. She said that her brother had gone to sleep hours ago and that she was up watching Real World on Mtv. All of a sudden she heard scuffling in the kitchen, and clanking of dishes. She figured it was her little brother trying to sneak some more peanut butter cookies that their mom had made and specifically ordered that he only eat two. Her cousin had the idea to walk up the stairs and say in a very loud voice Gee, I wonder if Jason is still fast asleep. I know he couldn't possible be eating any cookies.." figuring this would scare him into running back into his room. She slowly opened his door when she got to the top of the stairs and almost bit her tongue when she saw that he was fast asleep in his bed. She was pretty freaked at this point and slowly walked down the stairs. She mustered up the courage to walk into the kitchen. There was no one there. There was a fork on the floor, however. Then she heard knocking on the front door. She went to answer the door, and there was no one there. She was pretty much balling her eyes out at this point. Every half hour after that there was a knock on the door. Finally she just ignored it and didn't bother answering. When her parents came home she told them she never wanted to be left alone there again.

I guess one or two more things happened there like someone knocking on her window a few times and her closet door being opened when she knows it was closed before. It's kind of giving me the creeps just writing this and thinking about it.

Daily Eerie Story 4

I was just given a story by a woman named Candy who told me about how she used to work at a children's hospital. She said that though she loved the kids and taking care of them, the work was emotionally draining and when they lost a child, it was just to much to deal with and she eventually quit. She said that while she worked there, whenever she had the night shift, she always had the creepy feeling she was being watched. She said that she knows it sounds cliche', but you just know when you are being watched. Often times she and her coworkers would hear a little girl giggling in the hallway but no one was there. Not to mention there were no children's rooms on the floor she was working on. One night she swears that she was in the bathroom and heard the shuffling of feet and giggling coming from the end stall. The weirdest thing that happened was right before she quit. She said that she was working late at night and she was the only one walking the hallways. All of a sudden she saw a little boy peer his head around the corridor. She called to him but he didn't move or say a word. When she got close to him, he just disapeared. CREEPY!

Why so fascinated?

I think if I had to answer why I am so interested in the Paranormal, it would have to be because I am I guess what you would call Agnostic. I want to beleive in everything, but can't fully beleive in anything until I have experienced it or seen it for myself. If I were to see a ghost or experience something similar to that, I would feel less afraid about dying, and know that something DOES go on after death and that we are not just worm food. It's something I think about alot. A little to much probably.

Viva La Mexican Vacation

For those of you that are stuck in New England this time of year, your dreaming of the warm weather. While the rest of us are jealous that you have snow (Although none of us want the insane amount you have been getting) you are wishing you were in Florida, or on an All Inclusive Mexico luxury vacation. Have you ever heard of the Karisma hotels? My god they are fabulous. They are so luxurious. You can enjoy private beaches, personal butlers, lovey scenery, GOURMET food menus that would rival the iron chefs on the food network. Imagine lounging in a pool with a fool bar right next to the secluded white sandy beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. You really should treat yourself to a vacation like this. It comes along once in a life time. Beach beds with retractable curtains, snap to services, sunset margairtas, you really can't go wrong with this sort of relaxation and special treatment. Your the star at Karisma hotels.

Daily Eerie Story 3

The following story was taken from Vanessa from the WW Messageboards.

"I worked in a house built in the 1880's for several years and saw lots of things.

On occasion, I would see a little boy peeping around the newel post. Comes to find out the lady who owned the house had pictures and this kid was in one of those pictures.

Then there was the woman with the arms. You could only see her from just above the waist down, so from about the height of 3/4 length gloves, and of course her gown and all that.

Lastly there was a black kitty who hung out there. I could hear him squalling and would feel him bump against my leg on occasion. He also liked to claw the carpet outside the bathroom door in the mornings when I would go in there before others got to work.

I know if I'm crazy, others who worked there were too because they would also see the little boy and the kitty.

There was a ghost hunter person who came to investigate a few years back and she claimed to have found an orb. I don't know what I think about that. "

That is some pretty creepy stuff my friends. I often times wonder why I myself have never seen anything..or if maybe I have, and not realized it was Paranormal.

Interesting Meeting

It was an odd experience the first time I met my sister's boyfriend. He walked into the house, shook our hand, looked in a daze for a moment and said"oh, sorry, I was just noticing a black shadow go past". It was totally creepy but he appologized and said he was sensative to such things. He then went on to talk about some creepy things that happen in his house.

My sister was saying that when she first went over to his house, she noticed some porcelin dolls on a shelf. She looked away for a few moments and then looked back and they had moved. Then she said that he would creep her out by saying that he just saw someone walk past her LOL it's creepy but pretty interesting at the same time.

Capella

The following post is based on information provided by blogitive. For more information, please visit blogitive.com

Have you heard aboutcapella university? Founded in 1993 they are a FULLY accredited FULLY online university. With over 200,000 students from around the world they make it very conveiniant for those of us that can't seem to find that extra time to enroll in a local community college or a big university. Whether your a stay at home mom or dad or a parent who works full time or someone that is just trying to further your career and don't have the time to shower, get into normal clothes and head to a late late night class, Capella is great for you. They offer degree programs in many different areas such as education, business technology, psychology, public health, etc. You can earn these degrees in your spare time, in your pjs if you so wish it. The best part is that Capella is accredited. This means that even though it is an online school, your diploma is just as credible as the one you would have gotten if you had had time to go to an outside of the home university. Thank goodness for the internet. Sometimes technology makes things really great.

A Great Book

I have been reading another great book about Ghost Experiences. It's called "I never beleived in Ghosts until..." 100 Real-Life Encounters. It's a collection by the Editors of USA WEEKEND. It's really great, there are some pretty creepy stories in there from people who didn't give two thoughts about Ghosts until they experienced it for themselves.

Daily Eerie Story 2

I am just starting up but I got a few different posts from some WeightWatcher's messageboards people. This is the response I got when I asked if anyone had had any paranormal experiences.

ARAGORNSARGONATH -"I have been stabbed by a cold knife that wasn't there, seen beings on mutiple occasions, had a black three fingered hand grab my hand when there was no arm attached to the hand, and I have been hit on the head with something and then someone was choking me."

LSEIDMAN9 -"When I was incollege, I use to feel that my dad came into the room and would come to talk to me. I would swear he was there"

BELLYRUBZ-"My best friend lives in a haunted house. I have only experienced a feeling of being followed there, but she often is awakened by the feeling of someone sitting on her bed. She grew up in the house and has just learned to live with it. "

Daily Eerie Story 1

Well I just remembered a story that my mom told me. When she was in highschool, her parents moved into a house in Edgecom Maine. It held my Nana's beauty shop and had a nice deck and was two stories. My moms room was in the converted basement. One night, my mom woke up to go to the bathroom and found blood splattered all over her pillow. She quickly got up and looked in the mirror but there was none on her face anywhere or any other parts of her body. When she went to get back into bed she noticed blood splattered on her dresser drawyer, as if somene had taken a paint brush and let it drip, drip drip into small circles all along it. My mom said it was really creepy because there was no blood on her, her brother wasn't home at the time so he couldn't have played a trick and her younger sister was to young at the time to even contemplate playing a trick. To this day she still doesn't know what it was.

Daily Ghost Stories

I want to start a daiy ghost stories post. I have never had any experiences myself but am going to start trying to collect them from others and post them onto my blog. I think they should make for some really interesting reading.

Strike Gold

When I was younger I remember my grandpa having a fewgold coins he kept in a safe and private place. Everytime I visited he would let me look at them but we were not allowed to touch them. I always liked to imagine that my grandpa faught a pirate for them. However, I realize that is not true. Grandpa passed away at least ten years ago now, and I still think about those coins. I think they were passed down to another relative. I have considered investing myself in some gold coins, not just as a collectors peice but as an investment, Kind of a way to preserve wealth. Not that I am wealthy by any means but it would make me feel like it. I was reading up on the Monex Company and they seem like a reliable group of proffesionals that could give me investment advice when it comes to choosing a precious metal such as gold or silver. They would either keep it in a safe bank for me or ship it directly to my door. I think I prefer the directly to my doorstep method the best. Maybe someday I can show them to my grandkids.

Poltergeist

I love this movie. The first one, anyway. This movie doesn't really scare me. Although if I was watching it late at night, all alone in a house by myself I would probably be a bit freaked out. It's more sad to me, knowing that Heather O'Rourke died so young and that she was only able to get through the Poltergeist movies. The first one was great, the others were mediocre but she loved doing them. It's so sad because i'm sure she would have matured as a young actress and gone on to play adult roles and really get into her craft. Taken away so young. So sad. What really gets to me and makes me sad in the pits of my stomach is the "Carol Anne's Theme" at the end of the movie. There is just something about kids singing choir type music that can really give you the heeby geebies.

Lisa Williams

As far as mediums go, I have to say that I enjoy Lisa Williams the best so far. She just seems so much more (and I hate to say this as I used to love Sylvia Browne but lately it's been true.) sensative and caring then Sylvia Browne. Sylvia has a tendancy to roll her eyes and make her clients feel as though they are somewhat stupid for even asking her a question. Lisa is bubbly and spunky and I really feel like she genuinly cares for her clients even though she has just met them. I'd love to meet her one day. Seeing and experiencing is beleiving for me.

Torza Covers

Ho Ho Ho! The holidays are here and I am looking for great gift ideas. I found a few that are kind of unusual. I was thinking of getting my father some truck accessories. He recently over the past few months finally treated himself to a new truck. He even picked his favorite color. He had had the old truck for years and years. He isn't very materialistic and doesn't spend alot on himself so it was great having him do that for himself. I found this website called Buy Auto Accessories. They have a huge selection of accesories for his truck such as torza covers, pet barriers, tool boxes, under car light kids, tail light covers, bug sheilds, etc. It's great. They are having a great two day sale right now with free shipping. Just in time for Christmas.

Ghost Hunting

How many of you have ever read about a haunted place in your area and gone to check the place out? I have done it a few times, mainly at night but always chicken out. For example, my husband and I were in Joplin, Misery(lol as my father in law calls it)and I read about the Peace Street Cemetery and how there was a grave of a vicious murderer at the very back of the place. It is said that some people experience extreme feelings of nausia just walking by the area and others have felt a prescense follow them how. Also it is said that even though there is no known family members alive in relation to the murderer, someone always tends to his gravesite.

Well, we drove by there at night and I had my husband roll down my window so I could take a picture. It was soo dark, I was scared and really creeped out so I took the picture fast and told him to keep driving. It was kind of a bad place to be parked. Many people have been killed in accidents on that road as well. I went back the next day during the day and took a look at it and walked through the place. It was extremely overgrown and full of ticks i'm sure. After about ten minutes of looking i could not figure out where the graves started and ended so I gave up. Nothing showed up in the first picture I took, nor any of the daytime ones.

Another time my friends and I took pictures outside a supposently haunted building in my parents town but got nothing back in the pictures. However, we didn't stay long because there was a house acrossed the street and we didn't want them thinking we were breaking in or something.

Other than that the only other time I did anything like that was when my ex boyfriend, my sister and I drove down to Bucksport, Maine (I am from Maine)to check out the gravestone of Jonathan Buck. I beleive the story goes something like he allowed a woman he had an affair with supposently to be burned or hanged as a witch. She cursed him and an imprint of a foot, her foot supposently, is permanantly on his gravestone. They have replaced the stone once or twice and it still shows up. It's very creepy. However, I was very disapointed to find out that the graveyard itself is gated off so you cannot enter. So I had to try and take pictures of it through a fence. Not easy.

Orbs

I tell you what, it must take a pretty keen and knowledgable eye to be able to tell the difference between an orb and dust balls and mosquitos. I know that when I took the picture at the top of this page I was sure I had orbs until I thought logically about it and realized it had been raining an hour before and it could have been rain drops on the lense falling off the trees or one of the many millions of mosquitos that plague the Maine outdoors. I noticed on video that the mosquitos bare a great resemblence to orbs.

Roses For Sale

Are you planning a large event? Maybe a wedding or funeral and need tons of fresh flowers but can't afford to get them from your local flowershop? I know a place where you can get some gorguesswholesale roses, or customized wedding packages. The flowers are freshly cut from the flower farms and sent directly to your day, so you avoid the cost of the flower shop. The flower shops themselves order them from the flower farms who ship to the flower shops in cooler type boxes, causing the flower shops to charge you extra money because they had to pay to get them there. With Fifty Flowers they illiminate the flower shop step and just have the flowers shipped directly from the flower farms after they have been freshly cut and put into bundles in bulk. There are many fabulous flower packages to choose from and the prices are wholesale. You can't beat fresh flowers at wholesale!

Graveyard Rubbings

Did anyone else ever do these as a child? It's called Graveyard etching or rubbing. My mom used to take us up into the graveyard near our house with some crayons and white drawing paper and we would place the paper against the tombstone and rub the craying over it so that the persons name and the date of birth and death showed up on the paper. I guess you could consider that morbid, although as a kid I never did. The stones were very old back then and are in even worse shape now so I doubt you could even try to rub against them these days. That didn't quite sound right LOL

Aaron's Crossing

About a month ago I finished a book called "Aaron's Crossing". It was a really great book and I would love it to be a true story. It supposently is. It's about a woman who is walking through a graveyard and senses that there is a presense there. The spirit follows her home and she helps him to cross over. He crosses over and then returns to tell her the story of what happened before his death, and the story of the limbo he was in before she walked into the graveyard. It was a very interesting and sad book.

Las Vegas

Ah. Viva Las Vegas. My mother would LOVE to go to Vegas. She started out playing Bingo at the local town hall with a group of friends twice a week. This turned into going to Foxwoods Casino once a year with her friend and neighbor. However, her neighbor has been ill the past few years and she has not been able to go so neither has my mom. I think my moms ultimate trip would be to go to Las Vegas. She could gamble, take in the Las Vegas Shows, stay at one of the many awesome hotels, etc. I think it's one of those places that everyone has to go at least once. See the Elvis's, the magic acts, circus circus, Wayne Newton if he is around, etc. There is a website called Best Of Vegas that can help her plan her trip. They have all the best hard to find tickets for Vegas shows and places to book the hotels. Not just any hotels, the BEST hotels. Hence, the BEST of Vegas.

Never Seen A Ghost

I honestly think that maybe the reason I have never seen a ghost, is that the ghosts know that I would be scared shitless to see one LOL maybe they are trying to spare me the heart attack. You think?

Paranormal State

I think the show premeired last night. I caught some of it and was totally creeped out. This little boy had been seeing an apparation of a dead teenager. He said the teenager's name was Timmy. It turns out that there was a Timmy that had died in the area nearbye and when asked to point Timmy out in a class picture the little boy did not hesitate and immediatly planted his finger on Timmy. It was oober creepy. I wish I could remember what time it comes on. I tend to get interested in shows and then forget when they are on and miss them.

Orlando Vacations

If your like me, you can't afford to do the fun Disney vacation every year. Heck, it often times takes an entire year just to save up to go. We all envy those people that go every single year. I know that I do. However, the reality is is that I don't make enough to go yearly. So when I DO go, I want to do everything. Spend two and a half weeks there and hit up Disney, Universal, Sea World, MGM, etc. I need all the savings I can get to do this however. There is a great website called Orlando Fun Tickets that sells discounted theme park tickets. In addition to Disney and Seaworld Tickets, you an also get tickets to dinner shows and restaraunts and special concerts. They are a great resource for those of us who are not made of money but want to have fun like we are.

T.A.P.S

This is why I like T.A.P.S. Unlike other reality shows about paranormal activity, where practicly the second they step into a supposently haunted place something happens, T.A.P.S rarely finds conclusive enough evidence to clearly say that a place is really haunted. Because there is such skeptisism out there, they go to great troubles to figure out what non-paranormal things could be causing these problems. This means that when they have gone through all possible scenarios and still can't figure it out, it's pretty exciting that it might be something really paranormal.

Asylum Cams

Lately i've started becoming addicted to going to the Asylum Webcams again. The farm cam doesn't seem to be working at the moment. That one was my favorite. That creepy doll that would sit in the old rocking chair. We would swear that his arms would wave up and down or he would change positions. I try and not get to excited because with all the pixalation it is very hard to tell when something is really SOMETHING and not just pixals. I think way to many people on the message boards at the Asylum take pixals too seriously.

Better Care

I have known a few people who have suffered from dimensia, my own gradmother included. Placing a loved one innursing homescan be the hardest decision a child can ever make in regards to their parents or husbands and wifes can make in regards to their spouse. Dealing with dimentia can be hard on both the patient and their relatives. I remember how hard it was for my father to deal with my grandmother thinking that he was his older brother, and her always asking where her mother was, or her husband. It was a very difficult time. If your in the UK area, there is a great website called bettercaring.com. They have great articles and message boards that deal with how to cope with a loved ones illness, what treatments are best for what, the cost of living, etc. You can also do a search on their search engine for the best rated nursing homes in your area. They also have information on in home care nurses as well. It's a great resource for those having to deal with this type of situation.

Paranormal

So I am really considering redoing my blog into a paranormal website. I LOVE the paranormal. Though I am no expert on the subject, i'd like to post links and articles and photos and other topics. I think it would really open up this blog. So look for me to be dropping this current title soon and renaming my blog to something Paranormal :)

Orlando Vacations

Now that it's that wintery and snowy time of year up in Maine, many folks are heading south to Florida until the summer time begins again. They normally rent themselves a vacation home for the winter, or have a trailor in an upscale trailor area. There is a great option for them if they want to try something new however, and that is Orlando Holiday Villas. If you go to thinkflorida.co.uk, you can see that you can rent a villa in orlando, and enjoy a luxurious vacation with the comforts of home. Each villa has a living room, dining room, bedrooms and a full kitchen. This means you can cook your own food, instead of staying in hotels and spending all kinds of money on room service. It's a great idea. Many villas are right on the beach. There are many things to do in the area, especially the big theme parks like Universal, Sea World and Disney. So whether your wanting to stay for two weeks or two months, a villa is better than a hotel.

Pizza

You know, of all the things that they show on tv that are annoying, pizza commercials have to be the worst. I love, love LOVE pizza and it's so annoying to finally ward off a craving only to see a darn pizza commercial pop up. Stuff crust pizza, oven fresh pizza, free toppings, thick crust, thin crust, cheesy bread sticks, etc. It sucks lol. Why can't they just go away? Ahh well..damnit lol

December

I can't beleive how fast December is happening, I really can't. It's already the 10th, soon to be the 11th. Before I know it, it will be december the 24th and christmas eve. Hall out the holly, put up the tree before my spirit falls again. Seriously, it seems to come faster and faster every year. In reality, it comes the same time every year but for some reason each year we have less and less time to prepare for the event. Then all that build up and it's over in about half an hour.

Beta365

This is going to sound really strange, but my grandmother actually knows how to use the computer and get online to play online casino games. My own dad can't figure out how to turn the computer on, but my grandmother can get online and make her way around an online casino site! Crazyness. She was telling my dad about this website called Beta365 that she goes to where she can play online poker, slots, video poker, and win large amounts from the progressive jackpot. He just shakes his head as he has no clue what she is talking about. I checked out the site for myself and they look pretty neat. They even have a sports betting facility on the site. It's very secure and safe, so no scams to worry about. They even give you some coins to play with when you first sign up. There are over 80 games to take your pick from when you download the full version.

Water

I wish water tasted better. I mean I can get away with drinking my 8 glasses of water a day and then drink one or two caffeine free diet sodas(Yeah yeah I know, we've been over this. Diet soda is BAD.)and be good. But I would drink so much more water if it didn't taste just clear and bland. Or make me have to pee every five seconds. I'm still learning when to cut off my water at night. If I drink it within two hours of bedtime I am up going to the bathroom every five minutes for a few hours at night and it is sooo annoying.

Spanish Travelors

I have a few friends that are from Spain. They DO speak english but it is not their first language and they find it so much easier to communicate with people who speak their own language. Sometimes on websites and over the phone the language barrier can get quite annoying. They are trying to plan a trip over the internet and all the travel sites are in english. Thank goodness for them there is a new website out from hotels.com that is written strictly for those who speak Spanish. It is a great tool. The website is called espanol.hotels.com. Yay fordescuento en hoteles. Imagine if you spoke another language and though you understood english a little bit, it was so much easier for you to speak your native language. Then imagine that all travel websites are in english. It could make it really hard for you. Thank goodness the top hotel travel site on the internet has made it possible to break the barrier.

Diet Soda

Alot of us have finally realized that Diet Soda is just as bad for us, if not worse than regular soda is. It's funny how we think we are doing well getting a grilled chicken sandwhich, side salad with low-fat dressing and a large diet soda. Well we may be saving calories on the diet soda but were messing up our teeth from acidity and the soda works as a dieretic.

Jim Carrey

Not sure if I spelled his name right or not, but I am watching the end of some sort of serious movie role he did. I'm not sure what it's called. Most people tend to not like him in more serious movie roles but I really liked The Truman Show. I loved it. I may be the only person who does, but I do. I didn't care for Dumb and Dumber but I think I am the only one that didn't like it.

Car Radiators

If your sick and tired of going to car fix it places and having to pay insane prices for something that has to be special ordered and takes weeks to get to you, your in luck. I found a great website that sells Honda Radiators and other car radiators at great prices. Why are they greater than normal places? Because at Radiators.com, they get rid of the middle man. They work directly with you and send the products right to your door. At radiators.com they work with local warehouses in YOUR area. This means that there is always products in stock and they are normally shipped in 1-2 days directly to your door. They have years of expertise in all of your radiator needs.

Polariod Cameras

I went to this amusement park a few years back and had my picture taken with a gigantic snake around my neck. I got the picture back and I looked really skinny in it, even though I was about 215lbs. It's funny how a polaroid can sometimes take off some pounds. This isn't always the case but I would love to get a hold of that camera that was used there. I'd take tons of pictures of myself and be in denial about my weight and size LOL

Body FLex

I just read Aly's blog about that Body Flex/Shapely Secrets product thing and had to laugh. I had seen it advertised before but had NO clue what it actually was. It is kind of funny, it never dawned on me while I was watching the infomercial that there was no info on the actual excercise itself! LOL too funny. Anyway, I stole the video from Aly's blog and you just have to watch it, it's crazy. This is what the excercises really look like. Glad I didn't spend the money on this crazyness.

Gift Baskets

Now that we are into December, it's time to start planning out the Christmas list if you haven't already. If you have someone on your list that is especially hard to shop for, you should check into the greatholiday gift baskets at Gourmet Gift Baskets website. They have an excellent selection of baskets such as gourmet chocolates, gourmet cheeses and crackers, specialized theme baskets like Texas themed baskets, men and women specialized baskets, wine gift baskets, beer gift baskets, breakfast gift baskets, etc. There are some awesome deals on there, and you can't go wrong with a treat basket. Imagine if someone gave you a wine and cheese basket? I'd be in heaven!

Snoop

Snoop dog has a new show on E coming out called Snoop Doggs Father Hood. It looks really interesting. Despite the fact that it is "reality" and we all know how much reality tv tends to be edited and faked, I hope to get a somewhat realistic look into what his life is REALLY like. All we hear is about gansta shootings and drugs but then we see huge ass cribs on mtv cribs so it should be interesting to see.

Hark How The Bells

Hark How the bells sweet silver bells all seem to say throw cares away christmas is here bringing good cheer to young and old meek and the bold ding dong ding dong that is there song with joyful ring all caroling one seems to hear word of good cheer from everywhere filling the air ding dong ding dong that is there song with joyful ring all caroling dooooooooong. Ding dong ding DONG. BUM. I am truely in the christmas spirit now.

Cash Advance

Have you ever been in a position where you run out of cash before you get paid again? Sometimes emergencies pop up like car troubles or you are in dire need of groceries or gas money or it's someones birthday or Christmas. In cases like these, there is a great solution to the problem. Payday Advance Loans. If your in the Montana area, there is a website you can go to to apply for online payday advanceloans over the internet. It's called Check City. Get approved and have the money directly deposited into your checking account. Set up a date to pay them back and you are all set.

Andy Griffith

You know, Andy Griffith is a pretty interesting show. Even though I enjoy I love lucy, I always thought Andy was too country bumpkinish and old school to watch. I sat through an episode about Aunt B's birthday the other day. It was kind of sad. It's not to bad of a show but deffinatly, deffinatly country bumpkinish LOL
Look at how successful Ron Howard became thought. You can't get much better than that. It's sad that old Barney Fife is dead and gone though.

Fudge Bars

If your having a hardcore chocolate craving but don't want to waste the calories on a candy bar or know that one of those small individual dove chocolate peices will send you into a chocolate binge, you should try a no sugar added fudge bar. They are very, very few calories and it kind of tastes like frozen chocolate pudding on a stick. I can make myself limit it to one fudge bar alot easier than being able to limit myself to one peice of dove chocolate.

Bad Credit

It can be hard to findBad Credit Credit Cards. Sometimes when your young, living on your own in your first apartment, and you've been at your job for a few months, you start receiving these pre-approved credit card applications in your mailbox. You get so excited that withought even really reading the fine print about interest rates, you dive in head first and get the credit card. Then you max it out before you know it and spend the next few years trying to get out of debt. Trust me it takes just one holiday like Christmas to max out a card. Well there is hope. If your trying to reuild your credit, check out creditcardsearchengine.com. They can help anyone find a credit card, and give tips on which cards would be best for you. Even people with bad credit or no credit.

Emuffin Pizzas

God I love English Muffin Pizzas. They are so easy. You just buy some english muffins, canned pizza sauce, shredded cheese and whater toppings you want. Then you split the english muffins in half, spoon some sauce over the top, sprinkle with cheese, add toppings and bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. YUMMY! Very low in points and not to bad for you either when you get a pizza craving. I prefer mushrooms, green peppers and one slice of pepperoni on each Emuffin half.

Points Calculator

Aly just added a WW points calculator java script to her blog, for those of you that are on WW and may not have your calculator or points slider handy. IT's a great tool to use and really neat to have on your blog. Go on over and check it out on the side bar at www.alycatsclaws.com.

Wedding Favors

When it comes to weddings, my wife and I agree that small and intimate is better than large and stressful. Large and stressful leads to things not going as planned(Murphy's Law), tears of frustration instead of joy, etc. So we prefer to plan things ourselves and help make them happen instead of expecting others to do it for us, just because WE are the ones getting married. One of the fun things about planning a wedding is picking up the gifts for the wedding party. At Wedding Shop's website you can findunique wedding favors and personalize them for your wedding party. You can also find stuff to place on tables like personalized napkins, glasses, cake toppers, etc.

Christmas Ornaments

Well, this year we are pretty lacking on actual ornaments on the Christmas Tree. We have lots of colored balls, but very few ornaments left thanks to my little three and a half year old. This year we are not even going to attempt to put on our two precious glass ornaments because we are afraid that he will accidentally knock them off and break them. *sigh* maybe when he gets a bit older down the road we will be safe to do such things.

Christmas Specials

It's that time of year again. The family channel is doing their 25 days of Christmas. It's great. Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Charlie Browns Christmas, etc all will be in. Heck you could turn to TNT on Christmas day and A Christmas Story will be showing FOREVER LOL Tis the season to lick flag poles and want read rider bb guns. Don't shoot yer eye out!!

Please check out Alycat's WeightWatchers Blog. She revamped the old site and brought it into some greatness! She decided that her old blog wasn't filled with enough quality content, and decided to use it as her weightloss journey journal and post tips and get tips from others on sticking with the WW plan. I think that was a great idea. Check her out.
